The episode begins with Lakshmi tying Karan to a chair. Karan, still playful, flirts with her. Lakshmi confronts him and says she knows he is the one who mixed salt in Kheer. Karan sarcastically praises her intelligence. To teach him a lesson, Lakshmi puts salt into his mouth. She reminds him that he forced her to come here and warns that she will leave if he continues troubling her. Karan replies that she must stay as she has no choice. He adds that he will stop only when Lakshmi stops caring about Karthik.
Meanwhile, Bhavani and Vyom fuel Barkha’s suspicion. They say Karan and Lakshmi are trying to create a rift between her and Karthik and remind her that salt was added to Karthik’s kheer. Barkha refuses to believe Karan could do this and firmly blames Lakshmi.
Dadi instructs a servant to give Lakshmi a saree for her Mu Dikhai ritual. Barkha intervenes and says she will deliver it herself. Once alone, Barkha tampers with Lakshmi’s blouse, planning to humiliate her during the ceremony.
During the Mu Dikhai, Manny teases Karan, reminding him how he once claimed he would never marry and would enjoy life with his friends. Karan asks Manny to stop before others gossip, but Manny continues joking.
Dadi says the atmosphere feels dull and suggests playing Antakshari. Lakshmi is asked to begin, and she sings a sad song. Karan asks her why she sang such a sorrowful tune and assures her that he is there for her. Karan then sings a cheerful song. Barkha sings next and dances with Karthik, after which Karthik surprisingly sings a sad song. Manny remarks that everyone seems emotional and asks the DJ to play livelier music.
Lakshmi Faces Humiliation Attempt, Karan Steps In to Protect Her
As everyone dances, Karan notices that Lakshmi’s blouse lace has loosened. To protect her dignity, he quickly pulls a cloth over both of them and discreetly ties it. The family, seeing the covered figures, assumes they are kissing and begins gossiping.
Lakshmi becomes upset and asks Karan what he is doing. Karan explains he was only saving her from embarrassment, but Lakshmi refuses to believe him. To defuse the situation, Karan publicly claims that Manny challenged him to kiss Lakshmi and that he was only completing a dare. Dadi scolds him. Karan then takes Lakshmi away.
Inside the room, Lakshmi reprimands Karan for his actions. Karan teases her and then goes to sleep.
Elsewhere, Karthik is disturbed by the memory of Karan covering Lakshmi with the cloth. Lost in thought, he accidentally pours hot wax on his hand. Barkha rushes to him and asks what happened. Karthik says he was distracted. Barkha comforts him, assuring that everything will soon be alright.
