Mangal strictly warns Neel not to enter Ishana and Akshat’s room again. She tells him that if he wants to stay in the house, he must behave; otherwise, he is free to leave. Irritated, Neel asks where he is supposed to sleep if they remain in that room. That night, he lies awake on the hall sofa, feeling insulted and angry. Muttering to himself, he says that while everyone else enjoys their rooms, he has been pushed out — and he decides to teach them all a lesson.
Around midnight, Sowmya wakes up and notices Neel missing from the sofa. She looks around, confused about where he could have gone.
The next morning, Mangal is shocked to find water flooding the house. She follows the trail to Ishana’s room and wakes her up in panic. Ishana, confused and half-asleep, insists she has no idea how the tap was left open. Mangal quickly switches off the main fuse to avoid danger and wonders who caused this. Nearby, Neel watches smugly, remembering how he intentionally opened the tap during the night.
Mangal turns off the tap in the washroom. Meanwhile, Sowmya, finding no water in her own bathroom, goes to use the kids’ washroom and slips. Adit catches her just in time and angrily scolds Ishana, demanding what would have happened if something happened to his unborn child. Ishana tearfully insists she did nothing, but Adit refuses to believe her.
Mangal steps in and defends Ishana. Hurt, Ishana says, “Dad doesn’t trust me because I’m not his real daughter.” Adit is shaken and tells her not to say such things. During the commotion, Mangal spots Neel’s wristband and understands everything.
She confronts Neel, accusing him of deliberately causing the mess. Neel denies it, but Mangal reminds him of his past behavior in Mussoorie. Neel mocks her, saying her lectures bore him and even insults her marriage. Furious, Mangal orders him to apologize to Ishana, but he refuses. Kusum immediately sides with Neel, telling Mangal not to accuse him without proof. Kusum comforts Neel and sends him to freshen up, while Ishana leaves in tears.
Later, Mangal tries to explain to Kusum that Neel’s behavior is wrong, but Kusum insists that since they have finally gotten Neel back, she cannot risk losing him again. Mangal is left hurt and silent.
While cleaning, Mangal confides in Shanti about the baby swap that happened sixteen years ago. Shanti blames Adit’s decision to have the delivery in Mussoorie and calls Neel a spoiled child, worrying about Ishana’s feelings.
Meanwhile, Sowmya happily tells Kusum that she has made breakfast for Neel. Kusum praises her. Sowmya suggests celebrating Neel’s birthday, and Kusum agrees excitedly.
Shanti advises Mangal not to let Ishana feel overshadowed now that Neel has returned. Later, Kusum tells Adit that Neel’s birthday is the next day and insists on celebrating it. Mangal reminds them that it is also Ishana’s birthday. Adit agrees to celebrate both together.
