He angrily calls him “badtameez.” Adit then shows Mangal a hospital record book from her delivery and reveals the shocking truth — their first child was a boy, meaning Ishana isn’t their biological daughter. Mangal is stunned as Pushpa’s old words echo in her mind, reminding her that Neel is actually her son. Overwhelmed, she collapses.
Adit urges Mangal to accept reality, and Mangal tearfully shows him Neel’s photo before breaking down in his arms. Someone secretly photographs their emotional moment. Adit tries to calm Mangal, reminding her that it has been 16 years since the incident.
Mangal Lakshmi: Mangal Tries to Reveal the Truth to Ishana but Fate Interrupts!
A nurse soon notices Adit holding a confidential hospital file and questions how he got it. Furious, Adit scolds the hospital staff for their negligence. Mangal pleads with him not to tell anyone. Adit regrets that her first delivery took place in that hospital, but Mangal explains that her labor pains had started suddenly. She insists Ishana is her daughter, emotionally unable to accept the truth. Adit advises her to talk to Ishana before someone else tells her, then leaves. Mangal decides she’ll tell Ishana the next day.
When Adit reaches home, Sowmya confronts him with a newspaper photo showing him with Mangal. She accuses him of neglecting her and their unborn child. Adit clarifies that he was only consoling Mangal after discovering that Ishana isn’t their daughter and that they had a son instead. Shocked, Sowmya drops her coffee mug. Kusum arrives and advises Sowmya to stay calm for the baby’s sake. When Kusum questions her about Adit, Sowmya hides the truth, calling it a mood swing.
Meanwhile, Mangal gathers courage to tell Ishana the truth. Ishana asks what’s wrong, and Mangal confesses that she isn’t her biological mother — their babies were swapped 16 years ago without her knowledge. Ishana is stunned and refuses to believe it, assuming Mangal is joking. Despite Mangal’s pleas, she continues to deny it. Suddenly, a pressure cooker explodes. Mangal rushes to protect Ishana, only to realize she was imagining the entire conversation. When she touches the cooker, she burns her hand.
Shanti and the kids rush to help. Shanti scolds Mangal for being careless and asks her to rest. Ishana offers to clean up the kitchen, and Mangal silently resolves that she must tell her daughter the truth soon.
Later, Mangal invites Ishana to go to the market with her. Ishana agrees, but when Akshat offers to join, Mangal tells him to finish his homework first. She then prays to God for the strength to reveal the truth. Ishana overhears her and asks what truth she’s talking about. Before Mangal can reply, they hear Shanti crying loudly.
Shanti informs them that Lipika has met with an accident and pleads for a ticket to Delhi. Mangal consoles her, saying they’ll all go together. Ishana again asks about the truth, but Mangal puts it off and tells everyone to start packing.
Before leaving, Mangal tries to call Neel, but the call doesn’t connect. She sends him a message, asking him to take care of his mother and himself and mentioning she’s leaving for Delhi. Reading her message, Neel wonders why her tone feels so emotional—almost like a mother’s.
As Mangal and her family head toward the airport, Sowmya’s taxi passes by from the opposite direction, symbolizing how fate continues to intertwine their lives without letting the truth come out.
