During this tender moment, she recalls her promise to her late mother—to always care for her father, who often neglects himself and remains lost in sorrow. Staying true to her word, Khushi continues to protect and care for him with quiet strength and devotion.
Later, at the market, Khushi unexpectedly runs into Krishna, a young man who secretly harbors resentment toward her. Krishna finds Khushi’s confidence and boldness irritating, mistaking it for arrogance. Khushi, sensing his hostility, tries to ignore him and walk away, but Krishna, driven by ego and anger, decides to take revenge and humiliate her.
Khushi, who earns her living by washing and mending clothes on the roadside, receives an important order that day from the chairperson of the municipal corporation—an expensive saree to be cleaned with utmost care. Khushi sincerely begins her work, unaware that Krishna is secretly watching. Out of spite, Krishna deliberately ruins the saree, leaving Khushi shocked and devastated. Though furious, she feels helpless and holds back her tears.
When Khushi returns the damaged saree, the chairperson becomes furious, accusing her of negligence and dishonesty. She demands that Khushi either pay one lakh rupees in compensation or replace the saree with one of equal value. The false accusation and the impossible demand leave Khushi shattered and confused, not knowing how she will arrange such a huge amount.

Sensing danger, Khushi follows them to an apartment, where she finds Sweety partying with two men.

Inside, the situation takes a dark turn when the men try to harass Sweety.
