Jhanak calmly says she doesn’t. She reminds him that it doesn’t bother her when he talks to Aditi. Rishi admits he isn’t as selfless as her but insists she should focus only on her studies. He warns her that he’ll keep an eye on her to ensure no one distracts her. Jhanak laughs, teasing him about his jealousy and asking if he has time to spy on her.
Jhanak: Jhanak Expresses Her Gratitude to the Education Minister
Annoyed, Rishi asks if she finds this funny. Jhanak smiles and says she feels special seeing him jealous. She even asks if he gets jealous when talking to Aditi. Rishi grows flustered, saying he doesn’t know why he feels this way. Their moment is interrupted when Jhanak reminds him that the education minister is waiting for her.
Meanwhile, Putul grows worried when Jhanak doesn’t answer her call. Aditi and Neelu arrive, and Neelu accuses Putul of pretending not to know about Jhanak’s college. Putul defends herself, saying they only care about Mishti and not Jhanak, who is all alone in Kolkata. When Aditi claims Jhanak ruined her life, Putul firmly supports Jhanak, asking Aditi not to cross her limits.
Neelu taunts Putul, saying she failed to save her own marriage and shouldn’t try to ruin others’. Putul retorts that Neelu always defends Aditi. The argument escalates until Aditi declares she’ll leave the house if Jhanak is ever brought there. Neelu assures her that she need not leave her own home.
Jhanak Faces Rishi’s Jealousy and Wins Minister’s Support in Her Educational Journey
At the education minister’s office, Jhanak expresses her heartfelt gratitude, saying she received a hostel room because of her help. The minister asks her to reach out if she faces any issues and calls Rishi inside. Rishi introduces himself as Jhanak’s local guardian and explains that some people in Kolkata are trying to stop her from studying. The minister requests a detailed report, but Jhanak insists she wants to stay focused on her education.
Elsewhere, Mishti returns home and reveals that Jhanak started protesting after being denied a hostel room and that Rishi later arrived with his team. Aditi grows tense when she learns Rishi took Jhanak in his car and met the education minister. Mishti confirms that the minister’s intervention helped Jhanak secure accommodation.
Putul again sides with Jhanak, saying Aditi’s insecurity is the real issue. Tanushri intervenes, telling Putul not to insult the family for Jhanak’s sake, but Putul walks away, refusing to argue. Aditi, upset, says her marriage is on the verge of collapse and leaves the room.
Back at the meeting, the education minister asks Jhanak about her parents. Jhanak quietly says her mother is no more, and her father never accepted her. The minister encourages her to become a great doctor, and Jhanak promises to make her proud.
