The episode opens with Gini questioning Aarti about Ved’s presence. Aarti explains that Ved has come to speak with her and adds that he has doubts about where Gini was on 27th January—the day the girls were sold. Gini tells Aarti not to worry and confidently says she will silence Ved before he can say anything. Aarti reminds Gini that Ved is her husband, but Gini dismisses it, saying Aarti can find another man and should enjoy herself. Hurt, Aarti walks away. Gini then calls her henchman and orders him to keep a close watch on Ved.
Meanwhile, Anjali arrives at the court. Inside, a reporter confronts her, accusing her of involvement in child and women trafficking. The reporter presses Anjali with questions, but Anjali firmly states that all allegations against her are false. Padma intervenes, asks Anjali not to respond, and takes her away from the media.
Raghav apologises to Anjali and tells her that he will be fighting the case against her in court that day. He also mentions that he was informed about Abhay at the hospital. Gini signals Raghav to remain silent by having her goon subtly show a gun.
Later, Raghav shocks Anjali by telling her that he intends to prove her guilty. Anjali is unable to understand his sudden change in behaviour.
In the courtroom, Anjali presents her argument before the judge, stating that she has been charged under BNS Section 143 for women trafficking. She explains that on 27th January, when the trafficking allegedly occurred, she was in the Basti and can prove it. She requests time from the judge to submit evidence. Bhajan objects and engages in a heated argument with Anjali before the judge.
Kavya and Yuvraj observe the proceedings and feel that Bhajan will not be able to stand against Anjali for long. Gini, meanwhile, notices that Anjali is clearly dominating Bhajan during the exchange.
Gini sends a message to Raghav, warning him that she is watching everything. She threatens that if he does not take control of the case, he must come to the cemetery to claim Abhay’s body.
Responding to the pressure, Raghav tells the judge that he wants to call Vidyut to the witness stand. Vidyut steps forward, and Raghav asks him to describe the events of 27th January.
Vidyut testifies that they had received information about women being sold that day, which led them to set up checkpoints across all roads. He says Anjali arrived at one checkpoint with the girls and informed him that she had rescued them and was taking them to the police station. Vidyut adds that he had no reason to suspect her, as she had previously rescued women and fought for justice for victims. However, after Anjali crossed the checkpoint, he later received information that the girls had been sold. Raghav then calls Anjali to the witness stand.
With folded hands, Raghav quietly apologises to Anjali and asks her where she was on 27th January. Anjali replies that she was in the Basti, which had been burned down, and that she was overseeing its reconstruction in the presence of government officials. When Raghav asks for proof, Anjali requests time from the judge to submit evidence. Raghav objects and accuses Anjali of selling Mehek Singh Rajput.
