The episode begins with Anupama praying for Mahi’s mehendi ceremony, her heart clouded with concern. Bharti calls, and they check on each other. Anupama reminds Bharti to practice well for the international competition and laughs that Preet is still asleep. She lovingly says that when she returns, she won’t let Preet sleep this late and tells Bharti how much she misses her “dance ranis.”
Meanwhile, Mahi selects her outfit for the ceremony. Gautam praises her, saying she looks beautiful in every color. Rahi watches their growing closeness. When Gautam offers her a gift, Rahi declines, which offends him. Mahi believes Rahi is jealous and feels hurt. Gautam fuels these insecurities, suggesting that Rahi and Prem envy their future success — both in business and at home. Internally, he vows revenge on Rahi, Prem, Ansh, and Anupama.
Elsewhere, Pari eagerly looks forward to attending the wedding, but pleads with Anupama to stop it. Anupama asks her to wait for the right time. Later, during a business discussion, Gautam brings up a fraud case and notices Prem’s tense reaction, which makes him suspicious.
At the mehendi, Vasundhara performs aarti for Mahi but taunts the Shah family for attending. Leela fires back with her usual sharp wit. Vasundhara asks Rahi to bring Mahi and sends Ansh to call Gautam. She also forbids Raja from meeting Kinjal and Paritosh. Anupama gently asks Rahi if everything is alright between her and Prem, but Rahi admits they haven’t spoken properly due to his work.
Gautam’s Intentions Spark Tension at Mahi’s Mehendi Ceremony
When Mahi arrives, she tearfully asks Rahi and Anupama to support her marriage, insisting Gautam has changed. Gautam acts affectionate and tells Anupama he hopes she will one day accept him. Then he shocks everyone by asking Anupama to write his name on Mahi’s palm with mehendi. Rahi and Anupama tell Mahi to contact them immediately if she ever feels unsafe.
Vasundhara taunts the Shahs, calling them guests at their own daughter’s wedding. Leela retaliates, saying that even they are the first family to marry their widowed daughter-in-law to their own son-in-law.
Kinjal urges Paritosh to speak to Raja, but Vasundhara stops them. Ishani apologizes to Pari, but Pari still blames her for everything. Yet, Pari remains hopeful that someone will stop the wedding.
The mehendi celebrations begin. Vasundhara dances enthusiastically. Gautam again insists that Anupama write his name on Mahi’s hand and even offers to write Mahi’s name on his. Feeling hurt, Mahi accuses Anupama of not being happy for her. To avoid ruining the moment, Anupama stays silent and joins the dance.
Suddenly, Prarthana injures her hand. Gautam rushes to her and uses the moment to provoke Ansh, saying the child Prarthana is carrying belongs to him. Ansh reacts angrily. Anupama supports Ansh, declaring that Gautam has not changed and will never change. Parag, however, sides with Gautam.
Anupama warns the Kotharis for trusting Gautam blindly, and Vasundhara sharply tells her to stop interfering.
The moment turns painful when Mahi sides with Gautam. She lashes out at Anupama and Ansh, claiming they are ruining her ceremony, saying Gautam has every right to visit Prarthana’s child. Her words leave Anupama, Rahi, Prarthana, and Ansh heartbroken and stunned.
