Suddenly, a student—acting on the Dean’s orders—tries to stop the protest using bombs, causing panic among students who run for safety. Rishi arrives with his team. Aayush urges Jhanak to leave for her safety. Seeing Aayush holding Jhanak’s hand, Rishi approaches and sternly asks where she is heading, glaring at Aayush. He then checks if Jhanak is fine.
The protest continues as Jhanak addresses the journalists, clarifying that she isn’t engaging in politics but only fighting for her basic rights. She thanks Mythiri for her support and expresses how it feels like a crime to dream of becoming a doctor. The crowd chants, “Jhanak has the right to dream!” Jhanak explains that she studied hard, excelled in her 12th exams, and cleared NEET — so why shouldn’t she chase her dream? Rishi silently hopes her dream comes true.
Jhanak: Jhanak Receives an Invite to Meet the Education Minister
Jhanak recalls how city people treated her like an outsider, which deeply hurt her. She questions why she’s being denied a hostel room. She reveals her mother recently passed away, and although her father is alive, he never accepted them. Jhanak wonders what wrong she did by merely asking for a hostel room. She accuses the Dean of abusing his power by removing her name from the list. With no one in Kolkata to help, she had to arrange a local guardian’s signature on her own. Aayush once again raises slogans demanding answers, and the students join him.
Meanwhile, the Education Minister watches the protest on television and instructs her PA to contact the Dean. When connected, the minister sternly questions the Dean about the situation. The Dean claims there are no rooms available, but the minister orders him to immediately allot a hostel room to Jhanak and make the announcement publicly. She also asks for Jhanak’s contact number before hanging up.
Jhanak’s Protest Turns Triumphant as Minister Intervenes and Justice Prevails
Realizing his mistake, the Dean regrets listening to Aniruddh and Arshi, fearing for his job. He steps out and apologizes to the students, explaining the misunderstanding. He then officially announces that Jhanak has been allotted Hostel Room No. 9. Jhanak beams with joy as the students applaud.
Later, Jhanak receives a call from the minister’s PA, informing her that the Education Minister wants to meet her. She becomes anxious and tells Rishi about it. Rishi offers to accompany her, but Jhanak insists it’s unnecessary. Mishti sees them together and decides to inform Aditi.
Jhanak tells Rishi she doesn’t want him to get into trouble at home because of her. Rishi assures her not to worry and thanks her for her courage. When Jhanak asks why he’s helping her despite having no relationship between them, Rishi says he cannot explain their bond — she’ll have to realize her importance in his life herself.

Meanwhile, Aditi watches the news about the protest and the bomb blast. She tells Neelu to call Mishti, but there’s no response. Worried, Aditi decides to inform Rishi but fails to reach him as well. Neelu updates Putul about everything, blaming Jhanak for the chaos. Aditi grows increasingly anxious about Mishti’s safety.
Jhanak later informs Aayush that she must meet the Education Minister. Aayush offers to accompany her, but Rishi insists he’ll take her instead. Jhanak thanks Aayush for his help and leaves with Rishi. On their way, Rishi warns Jhanak to be cautious of Aayush. Jhanak, surprised, asks why it even matters to him.
